The Nature Team characters come from ‘Growth Mindset’, a series of animated stories produced by Cornucopia TV for BBC Teach. The aim of the series is to help unlock growth mindset ideas in pupils. In the series Meesha, Tom, Caitlin and Lucas explore situations that reveal the differences between fixed and growth mindsets.

We have re-cast these characters for Nature Screen, giving them new outfits suited to exploring nature. Their preferences and feelings are reflected in the Nature Screen environments - look out for them across the classroom screens. Inspired by Meesha, Tom, Caitlin and Lucas, we hope children will make their own choices.

Soon we will be offering a simple game for children to help them think about their own feelings and how being in nature - or watching Nature Screen - can help them to regulate their emotions.
